After working at large nonprofits, megachurches, for-profit companies, and marketing agencies, we wanted to provide something more for ministries facing unique challenges. In 2022, we started First Day Marketing because we were consumed with the responsibility of helping organizations make a huge Kingdom impact. Since then, we have cheered our clients on through new breakthroughs and helped them navigate uncharted waters.

In May 2014, Michael Davis learned about who Jesus Christ is and His saving grace. Shortly afterward, Michael decided to leave his tenure as Head of Digital Marketing at a $1B/annual business unit at McKesson to utilize his giftings to help spread the gospel. He first served at The North American Mission Board as Director of Strategic Marketing and then as Head of Marketing and Communications for RZIM. 

On top of Michael’s 15-plus years of marketing experience, he holds an M.A. in Christian Theology from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. 

He previously spent four years as a Cavalry Scout in the U.S. Army with a 15-month combat deployment to Iraq (January 2007-April 2008).

In 2022, Michael started First Day Marketing to build up and support faithful ministries in a way that allows them to grow and sustain themselves.
